Big hearts, big smiles and big red noses

The Coastal Caring Clowns Inc. are a group of happy volunteers, who since 2001 have regularly visited hospitals, nursing homes, respite care centres and have participated in a variety of community events from Caloundra to Noosa and into the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
In a world where loneliness, isolation and boredom are commonplace the therapeutic benefits of compassion and caring cannot be over-emphasised.
You don't have to be a funny person to be a caring clown. If you have a big heart, a big smile and a big red nose, then the rest just follows after a little training.
Video Competition for Young People
The Australian Government’s National Volunteering Strategy identified that the rate of youth volunteering is below the national average and needs to be better supported and encouraged. To increase volunteering participation amongst young people, the Australian Government is launching an online video competition.
The Volunteering Video Competition for Young People invites young Australians to create a video that will promote ways for young people to be involved in their community and capture the enjoyment, fun and social interaction that volunteering brings.
