tn 00992At Volunteering Sunshine Coast we can help you find a volunteer position that is suitable to your interests and skills. We work with a large number of local community groups and have a data bank of volunteer job vacancies. The volunteer roles are many and varied.

 

We also ensure that the community groups that we refer you to have the appropriate insurance to cover their volunteer workers.

Come and have a chat with one of our interviewers (who are also volunteers). They can find out what you are interested in, what skills you have and try and match you with a suitable volunteer position.

People are motivated to do volunteer work for many reasons:

  • new to the area and wanting to meet people
  • retired and wanting to give something back to the community
  • have specialist skills that they want to use
  • to gain some work experience to get into the paid workforce

What is your reason?

You may want to volunteer for just a couple of hours a week or a couple of days. You may only want to work occasionally. There are are many roles available and volunteer employers are often flexible with hours.carers expo2

Maybe you just want to help at an event or work on a project – we can find a role for you.

It does not matter what skills and time you have as it is very likely that there is a position to suit you.
